Course Description: 
Workshop on traditional Figure Drawing taught by Camille Banuchi.  In the workshop, we will start to get an understanding of the human form through studies of the skeleton and clothed model.  There will be demos on proper techniques with different mediums used to capture and better understand the subject.

  • HB pencil
  • white eraser
  • soft vine charcoal (charcoal pencils-optional)
  • Black, white and sanguine
  • "Conte" crayons
  • kneaded eraser
  • drawing board
  • charcoal paper/pad or Drawing/sketch pad 16x20 to 18x24
  • workable fixative

ABOUT CAMILLE BANUCHI:

Inspired to teach while a student, Camille Banuchi graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and continued her education with real artworld experience.  She has  exhibited in over 40 shows and has a background in drawing, printmaking, painting, mixed media and more. 

Since 2007, Camille Banuchi has served as a painting instructor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for the UL Continuing Education Department.  She states:  "Teaching is now a chance to give back and ignite the passion and potential in others."
