Course Description:  Join the legendary Haldley J. Castille and the gifted Sarah Jayde Williams in a Saturday fiddle workshop, open to everyone from beginners to advanced students. Beginners will enjoy a basic introduction to playing the fiddle.

Intermediate to Advanced students will be introduced to Cajun Waltz and Cajun Swing fiddle. You will also learn bowing techniques which gives the waltz that special feel. Learn about the Cajun Shuffle and Hoakim bowing also known as the double shuffle. Castille will also introduce students to Double stops and will show participants how to transition between playing melody and rhythm. Learn from the best in this unique workshop!
